Job Description

Business Development Manager @ Hyderabad & Bangalore

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for new business development and client relationship management. The BDM's focus is on prospecting for and securing new client relationships.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Promote and grow Air and Sea freight services both imports and exports or transportation or warehousing

Identify and locate new business clients ;
Meeting the prospective clients and developing businesses

Regularly meeting the existing clients and advancing business

Maintaining a healthy pipeline of customers/ accounts.

Daily (DSR) reporting to management
Maximise cross-selling to the customer base

Preparing sales and marketing plans for active and potential customers.

Develop effective customer relationship

Develop comprehensive pricing strategies
Elicit client feedback and improve the customer service

Collect relevant customer information for the RFQ and prepare documents for customer
implementation in order to ensure proper operational handover and implementation to meet customer
expectations (SLA's & SOP's)

Position Requirements:
3-5 years minimum experience in international freight forwarding / logistics industry
Knowlegde of Import Export Documentation
Direct B2B selling experience in logistics, with demonstrated selling success
Excellent communication and presentation skills
High degree of self-confidence, initiative, and commitment
Understanding of competitor strategies, capabilities and pricing
Superb negotiation skills with the ability to drive change and deliver targeted results
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
